Book Review: A Vow of Thorns by R. Scarlett

“A vow of thorns” is the 3rd book of the Blackest Gold saga. Who follows me and reads my review is well aware that my favorite genre is paranormal/urban fantasy. This is probably the second series that falls into this genre that I read this year and I loved the first two installments. Well, this one is on another level. I like how this story is developing and dang, I’m in love with all the book covers, especially this one. It’s raw and sexy.

Genre: Paranormal Romance, New Adult, Dark

What’s best than a good review after dinner? Another book waiting to be read. Eheh. Seriously, this week was full. But I love reading so I don’t mind it. The book I’m reviewing today is “Unsupervised” by Cora Kenborn is a novella part of the Kindle Worlds project of The Imperfect Love World, which means characters from other book worlds meet each other or work or live where other characters are/were. This cover is freakin’ gorgeous and sweet!!! ❤

Here is super hot already, I wish I had a break to enjoy all of this sun at the beach, but I have to wait. Today’s review is about “Ruckus”, the second book in the Sinners of Saint (couldn’t choose a more appropriate name for this series) by author L.J. Book Review: Body of the Crime by R. Scarlett

Body of the Crime is the second book of the “Blackest Gold” saga by R. Scarlett. It is a paranormal romance that contains violence, sex and dark situations, and in my opinion is the best paranormal book I’ve read this year along with the first of the series, Vein of Love, that you should read before this to understand the whole story. If you love this genre, you’ll be amazed and enamored with the story and the characters. ❤

Publication Year: 2017
Pages: 346 (Kindle)

Book Review: Swamp Bottom Novellas by Cora Kenborn and K.A. Ware

Hi there! Today I’m going to review not one, but three books. They’re novellas, so they are quite short, but they are in sequence so they should be read from the 1st to the last to understand the story. Each novella is published every 6 week or so. It is a  story with very funny scenes and characters that also has a lot of romance in it, and it is a romantic comedy, ideal for a light read. Plus, the authors are a guarantee. I’ve already reviewed books by Cora Kenborn and you know how much I’ve loved them, but I’ll try to read other books by K.A. Ware as well. 🙂
Genre: Romantic Comedy, Novella
Publication Year: 2017

Book Review: Vicious by L.J. Shen

Happy Saturday, readers!
Hope weather is good where you live, because here is cold and windy again and I hate these temperatures so much. While I tried not to feel the bad weather, I read another book. I HAD to read this book because I kept on seeing it on the TOP100 of Amazon’s Best Sellers, and two, because the blurb intrigued me. Guess what, I am so happy I cave in and sat down to read it. It’s the first of the Sinners of Saint series by author L.J. Shen, a new author to stalk, if you ask me. 😛 hehe.

Genre: Contemporary Romance, New Adult
Publication Year: 2016
Pages: 326 (Kindle)
